Mike Garatoni

Of Counsel

Mike Garatoni is an AV-rated trial attorney and San Antonio personal injury lawyer with more than forty years of civil litigation experience that includes work on behalf of injured plaintiffs as well as in defense of those accused of negligence. Mr. Garatoni graduated Summa Cum Laude from Abilene Christian University in 1978 and earned his Doctor of Jurisprudence from The University of Texas, where he graduated with honors, in 1981. Mr. Garatoni’s practice has also included representing individuals, financial institutions, and real estate developers in commercial litigation and large property owners fighting overreaching government action.

Having spent much of his career representing primarily fortune-500 companies engaged in multi-million-dollar litigation, Mr. Garatoni has seen the lengths to which opposing litigants may go utilizing vast resources (and the best legal representation money can buy) and the strategies they may devise to avoid or delay taking responsibility for their actions. Armed with the knowledge and insights gained through decades of involvement in major commercial litigation, he now fights to bring the same zealous and high-powered representation enjoyed by the world’s largest corporations to everyday Texans.  Mr. Garatoni has represented parties in numerous lengthy trials lasting up to eight weeks and knows the endurance and perseverance required to successfully resolve complex litigation. Moreover, he possesses a remarkable grit and determination, cultivated over his many years in practice, that has produced satisfied clients who return to him for decades of legal service.
