Attorney Michael Garatoni is the founder of Garatoni Law, a firm of personal injury lawyers in San Antonio. Born and raised in San Antonio, Texas, Michael Garatoni received his undergraduate degree from Trinity University before later attaining his Doctor of Jurisprudence from the University of Houston Law Center in Houston, Texas. While in law school, Michael interned at the Texas Fourth Court of Appeals and later clerked at the Consumer Protection Division of the Texas Attorney General’s Office. After law school but before entering the fray as a litigator, Michael assisted a team of attorneys and industry experts at a financial compliance consulting firm, advising client investment advisers and broker dealers on all matters related to their ongoing compliance with federal regulations. He then joined Thomas J Henry and later Daspit Law Firm where he started his career as a successful litigator and trial lawyer before founding his own personal injury firm.
Michael draws on his broad range of experience to better serve his clients and is proud to represent the interest of everyday Texans against large, unscrupulous corporations and insurance companies. He draws inspiration from his father, Mike Garatoni, an accomplished litigator with more than forty years of experience, and his late grandfather, Pete Garatoni, an Italian-American immigrant who swept floors at the bank in small-town Iowa before going on to achieve the American Dream as President of the Bank.
